September 2024

Pham, Anne-Marie - Circular (new)

Hello everyone!

September is here, and with it comes a host of opportunities to advance our collective mission of building a more inclusive Canada. I’m thrilled to invite you to dive into the activities we’ve lined up this month.

First, don’t miss our Fall 2024 Community of Practice events—these gatherings are your chance to connect, share, and grow alongside fellow DEI practitioners. In times like these, our collective wisdom is more important than ever.

In this month’s Leader Talks podcast, I’ll be speaking with Elijah Blackbird, Culture Manager at The Beer Store, one of our longtime Employer Partners. Elijah’s unique perspective on inclusion, informed by his background and values, offers powerful insights on how we can all contribute to a more equitable society. The episode will be released later in the month.

We’re also proud to be a Supporting Sponsor of the HRPA IDEA Micro-conference on September 24. I’ll be joining a panel to discuss how HR professionals can weave DEIA into the fabric of their roles. This is a critical conversation as we continue to reshape workplace cultures, and I’m excited to share insights that can help drive real change.

I encourage you to engage with these events, not just to learn, but to actively shape the inclusive future we’re all working toward.

Looking forward to what we will accomplish together this September!

Warm regards,

Anne-Marie Pham
