I can hardly believe we’re in December already! As we draw near the end of this eventful year, I am honored to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your unwavering commitment and support in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in our communities and workplaces across Canada.
2023 marks a significant milestone for CCDI as we proudly celebrate a decade of empowering change, fostering inclusion, and championing diversity in all its forms. It's thanks to your dedication, collaboration, and passion that CCDI has been able to make remarkable strides in cultivating inclusive environments and driving meaningful impact across our nation.
Throughout this year, our journey has been defined by remarkable successes and groundbreaking initiatives that underscore the enduring importance and relevance of our shared mission. With an expanding team of 37 dedicated individuals, over 700 committed Employer Partners, 33 new and updated resources, and an incredible 28,260 event registrants, we've made tangible strides in shaping workplaces that fervently embrace diversity as an unequivocal cornerstone of success. From hosting thought-provoking discussions to spearheading innovative initiatives, each statistic is a testament to the tangible difference we've collectively made in advancing the cause of inclusivity.
As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering dialogue around complex and crucial topics, I'm thrilled to announce our upcoming podcast episode featuring Brian Carwana. In this insightful discussion, Brian will delve into the nuanced complexities surrounding the conflict in Israel and Gaza. This episode promises to offer valuable perspectives and spark constructive conversations vital to our understanding of global issues within the lens of diversity and inclusion. This episode will be released in early December.
I want to thank you for your support, dedication, and tireless efforts, which have been instrumental in propelling CCDI's vision forward, empowering us to pursue our mission of building more inclusive, equitable, and diverse communities. Together, we've achieved remarkable milestones, yet our journey toward a truly inclusive society is ongoing. Let us continue to champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in every aspect of our society.
I hope you all have a fantastic December, and I’ll see you in 2024!
With heartfelt gratitude,
